Arts at YISS
The YISS performing arts courses are provided to enrich the learning experience and provide an outlet for student creativity.
Music
YISS offers music courses at all levels, starting in kindergarten and continuing through middle and high school. Our music program starts with a focus on teaching students to identify and apply the basic elements of music and express themselves creatively. As students mature, they enhance their abilities with further studies, building upon a strong foundation. Our secondary music program offers a diverse range of courses, allowing students to specialize in band, choir, or orchestra.

Theatre & Drama
Along with our music program, YISS also provides exploratory courses in theater and drama at the middle and high school levels. Each year, students perform two major productions, making up the cast, stage management, and tech crews.
Visual Arts & Design
In our art classes, students have the opportunity to develop their artistic skills, explore new techniques, and experiment with various mediums. We encourage our students to think critically and creatively, while also providing a supportive and collaborative learning environment. Our dedicated faculty offer instruction in foundations of art, visual design, drawing, painting, and photography.
