School Services
Bus transportation is available to assist families with student transportation to and from school. Each school day, our cafeteria offers nutritious, well-balanced, hot meals prepared by J&J Catering. Also, to ensure the health and well-being of our students, the YISS Health Office is staffed by a registered nurse during school hours.
Bus Services
Our fleet of 20 buses service a large region that includes nearly all major areas of Seoul. Bus routes are revised annually according to shifts in our student population and are designed to accommodate the transportation needs of our students as efficiently as possible with students spending an average of only 25-30 minutes on the bus. YISS services large population districts (gu) and neighborhoods (dong) within the greater metropolitan area of Seoul. The following list is where the majority of our community resides.

Cafeteria
The cafeteria offers nutritious, well-balanced, hot meals prepared by J&J Catering. Students can choose between two options each day and eat until satisfied for a set price. There are also boneless and halal options available.
Cafe & Deli
Located within the cafeteria is a deli selling snack and lunch options, beverages, and desserts. On the first floor of the elementary wing, across from the Guardian Store, J&J Catering also operates a cafe for parents and students to enjoy snacks and beverages after school.
Health Office
To ensure the health and well-being of our students, the YISS Health Office is staffed by a registered nurse during school hours to provide first aid treatment, limited emergency care, medication administration, and health education.
Air Quality Monitoring
YISS monitors the air quality on campus and in the Yongsan area throughout the day so that school activities can be modified accordingly. Decisions concerning any potential alterations or cancellations of school are made in consultation with local education and health authorities.
