Child Safeguarding
YISS takes its responsibility to protect and nurture every child very seriously. We aim to create a safe, positive, and nurturing environment for children, protecting and safeguarding them to the highest standards possible.
As an organization, we are committed to:
Valuing children and ensuring their safety in all locations and facilities where we are responsible in caring for them
Ensuring that all staff involved with children are given support and training in child safety and protection
Complying with legal requirements of our host country in training and reporting as necessary
YISS expects proper moral and ethical conduct toward all children from all adults within our organization including staff and volunteers. Our Child Safety Team received training from the Child Safety & Protection Network (CSPN), and our child safety policies and procedures are consistent with the best practice standards adopted by the CSPN.
