Third Graders Showcase Learning Through “HOW Museum”
Written by Joy Yi, Third Grade Teacher
Third grade students recently hosted a creative “HOW Museum” to celebrate their learning in nonfiction reading and writing. The interactive event invited parents and teachers to explore student-created displays featuring “HOW-To” articles that explained a variety of skills and processes. Visitors had the opportunity to read the articles and even try out some of the new skills students demonstrated.
As part of the museum, students also designed colorful scrapbook pages illustrating interactions between different animals or plants. These projects highlighted how very different creatures can become unlikely friends by working together.
The museum provided a fun and engaging way for students to share HOW learning can teach, connect, and inspire others!
