Guardian Ambassadors Lead Neurodiversity Presentation

Written by Blessed Lebona, Middle School Counselor

The middle school community recently came together to celebrate Neurodiversity Week with a student-led assembly that highlighted awareness, inclusion, and understanding.

Led by the Guardian Ambassadors, the assembly featured a skit, an informative presentation, and an interactive Q&A session. Through these activities, students explored the concept of neurodiversity and emphasized the importance of recognizing and valuing the many different ways individuals think, learn, and experience the world.

The event was met with a positive response from attendees. In a follow-up survey, many students shared that they appreciated learning from their peers and expressed interest in continuing conversations around neurodiversity and inclusion.

The assembly reflects the school’s ongoing commitment to fostering an environment where all students feel seen, respected, and supported. There is great value in having our student leaders help create a more inclusive and empathetic community.
