Forensics Team Kicks Off Year with a Strong Start

The YISS High School Forensics team embarked on a fresh year of competition with a bang, securing 3rd place out of ten schools (KIS, SIS, APIS, TCIS, CI, CDS, DSS, GSIS, ICSP) on our home ground. From October 13 to 14, our team participated in the first tournament of the year, where students from various KAIAC schools showcased their talents in speech and debate events, including Extemporaneous, Oratory, Impromptu, Poetry, Prose, Solo and Duo Acting, Parliamentary, Public Forum, and Lincoln Douglas Debate.

What made this competition even more exciting were the new faces that joined our team this year. We have already seen remarkable growth in a short span of time, and there are still three more competitions to go! It is never too late to become a part of this enriching journey. If any high schoolers have the slightest desire to participate in Forensics, go for it– you can only go up from there.

Below are the students who participated in each category.
