ES Girls Travel to SFS for Soccer Jamboree

Rain clouds loomed heavily before the season's second ES girls’ soccer jamboree on Saturday, October 14, at Seoul Foreign School. The clouds burst open right before the team began their warmups. However, the pouring rain could not damper their team spirit. Just before the opening match, the clouds parted, the sun came out, and the weather and soccer were beautiful for the rest of the day.

YISS girls were divided into two teams of seven and played three games each against Seoul Foreign School, Dulwich College Seoul, and Seoul International School. Both teams fought hard and improved on their results from the previous jamboree. Both teams were rewarded with several exciting goals for their efforts. Teamwork and a positive attitude ruled the day. The girls will continue to work hard and have fun until the end of their season.
