PTO and Administrators Welcome New YISS Families

The Newcomers’ Coffee hosted by the YISS PTO in partnership with school administrators on February 10 was a wonderful opportunity to warmly welcome to YISS new families whose children began second semester. Although smaller and more intimate than the gathering held in the fall, the cozy atmosphere made it easy for families to connect and feel at home.

Members of the school administration, teachers, and PTO board joined together to personally welcome the families, introduce them to our community, and share information about events and activities held throughout the school year. It was a meaningful time of conversation and connection, and we look forward to seeing these families become an active part of our school community.
