MS Girls’ Soccer Exhibits Remarkable Development

Written by Brandon Trevino, MS Girls’ Soccer Coach

The middle school girls' soccer team wrapped up a strong season marked by steady improvement, teamwork, and strong leadership across all grade levels. Throughout the fall, players sharpened their technical skills while learning what it means to support one another on and off the field.

Coaches emphasized listening to understand and perform. The girls also focused on caring for and supporting their teammates, regardless of the circumstances. Eighth graders played a key role by leading well. They led by example and guided younger players in understanding the team's culture.

Coaches Trevino, Delisle, and Jaramillo expressed pride in the group’s growth and look forward to seeing the girls continue their development in future seasons.

Both teams demonstrated remarkable development, not only in skill but in teamwork, leadership, and faith. The soccer season reflected the heart of YISS Athletics in growth, perseverance, and character through sport.
