Resilience and Teamwork Define the MS Boys’ Soccer Season

Written by Marlon Correa, MS Boys’ Soccer Coach

The middle school boys’ soccer program wrapped up a season defined by steady growth, hard work, and teamwork across all grade levels.

Our 6th grade team faced tough competition and, despite the challenging season, showed remarkable resilience and the ability to keep their heads up under pressure. Their attitude and determination provide great hope for their continued development as they prepare for next year’s soccer season.

The 7th and 8th-grade boys delivered a strong season with several impressive wins and a few hard-fought losses. The KAIAC all-star team competed with passion and pride, representing the school well and maintaining composure even through some challenging moments.

Across all teams, every athlete displayed courage, sportsmanship, and genuine faith—both on and off the field.

Coaches Poyo, Yu Kun, and Papa Khanh expressed deep pride in the players’ hard work and progress throughout this season and look forward to seeing them continue to shape the future of YISS soccer.
