Kindergarten Families Celebrate a Meaningful Learning Milestone

On Thursday, May 28, the school auditorium was filled with excitement, laughter, and proud smiles as kindergarten students, teachers, and families gathered together for the annual Kindergarten Promotion ceremony. This year’s inspiring theme, “Oh, the Places You’ll Go,” celebrated the incredible growth of the students and the bright futures ahead of them.
The classes shared joyful musical performances that reflected all they had learned during their kindergarten year. The students also shared uplifting and encouraged messages to remind the audience that God’s guidance can lead them on wonderful adventures! The students proudly exclaimed about the great plans that God has for them and their future!
Each kindergarten student was individually recognized as they proudly walked across the stage to celebrate this important milestone. Teachers greeted students with smiles, hugs, and words of encouragement as families applauded the accomplishments of the kindergarten classes.
One of the highlights was a special video compilation imagining what the students might become in the future. The heartwarming presentation featured students sharing their aspirations for the future, alongside creative images imagining what they may look like one day as future artists, doctors, athletes, teachers, scientists, and more. The video beautifully captured the spirit of possibility behind the theme, “Oh, the Places You’ll Go.”
Families also enjoyed a memorable slideshow filled with favorite classroom moments, celebrations, learning experiences, and friendships formed throughout the school year. As the celebration concluded, guests were treated to festive cookies shaped like graduation caps, hearts, and colorful hot-air balloons. The reception highlighted the warm feeling of the YISS Community, as members of staff and Guardian Ambassador students helped to distribute gifts, refreshments, and share smiles with those attending.
The Kindergarten Team proudly congratulates the Kindergarten Class of 2038! This year has been filled with remarkable growth and joyful memories. We are so proud of all they have accomplished and look forward to seeing the amazing places their journeys will take them next.
