A Blooming Success: Kindergarten Promotion Honors Student Growth

On Wednesday, June 7, an enchanting event unfolded in our auditorium as three kindergarten classes, accompanied by their teachers, parents, and guests, gathered for the Kindergarten Promotion Ceremony. The ceremony, beautifully themed "Bloom," showcased the students' growth and accomplishments throughout the year.

Guided by Mrs. Falgout, the kindergarten music and art teacher, the students delighted the audience with several musical performances. In addition to their singing talents, a number of students showcased their speaking abilities, stepping up to the microphones to deliver collaborative poems filled with encouragement and gratitude.

Following their group performances, each student took the spotlight one by one to receive recognition for successfully completing kindergarten. With excitement and pride, they shared heartfelt high-fives and hugs with their beloved teachers.

The audience was treated to a delightful memory slideshow, taking them on a nostalgic journey through the highlights of the students' kindergarten year. Additionally, a compilation of videos showcased the students' demonstrations of kindness, inspiring everyone present to be “better together.” Students from each class were also recognized as the recipients of the Guardian Award and Honor Code Award. The recipients are listed below. As the ceremony drew to a close, families enjoyed delicious student and graduation cap-shaped cookies.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the kindergarten classes of 2023 on their remarkable achievements. We are immensely grateful to all the parent and staff volunteers whose dedication ensured the smooth execution of this memorable event.

Congratulations to our Guardian Award winners: Jay H., Leia P., Zoe C., Jonathan L., and Soyoon L.

And to our Honor Code Award winners: Noah Y., Dikshita R., Georges D. F., Lily B., Harris H., and Leah C.
