International Bazaar Brings the World to YISS

On April 26, the International Bazaar featured a vibrant celebration of the cultural diversity at YISS, bringing the school community together to enjoy global cuisine, music, dance, and cultural experiences.

The International Bazaar featured students who dressed in beautiful national costumes and proudly marched in the Parade of Nations. View the video at yis.to/parade.

It was a joy to watch the YISS students take center stage, sharing traditional dances and music from around the world. View the videos at yis.to/ib-playlist.

Thank you to the YISS staff and middle and high school students, Mr. Adams, and Mr. Krahn for providing a wonderful selection of live music.

A huge thank you to the culture booth volunteers for offering a chance to explore and experience the richness of your countries. Your creativity and hospitality brought the world to the YISS campus. The YISS community truly appreciates all those who had a part in organizing and supporting fun games and activities for the younger attendees.

This cultural celebration was only possible because of the incredible spirit of collaboration in the school community. The YISS community is deeply grateful to all the parent, teacher, staff, and student volunteers who made it possible. From setting up tents and stage, marching in the parade, performing, supporting audio, organizing cultural booths and games, to managing bouncy houses, raffle prizes, food, music, Guardian mascot, tickets, videography, photography, and cleanup—your time and efforts are deeply appreciated.

Finally, YISS would like to offer a heartfelt thanks to the YISS PTO International Bazaar Committee, whose months of planning, creativity, and dedication helped us honor and celebrate the many nations that compose the YISS community!
