MS Students Glide Into Guardian Fun Day
On February 13, our middle school students enjoyed a memorable Guardian Fun Day at the Lotte World Ice Rink. The trip provided a wonderful opportunity for students from all grade levels to spend time together outside of the classroom and strengthen their connections as a middle school community.
Once on the ice, students quickly showed a wide range of skating abilities. Some confidently demonstrated their skating skills, gliding and spinning across the rink, while others bravely stepped onto the ice for the very first time. Regardless of experience level, students encouraged one another, shared plenty of laughs, and embraced the challenge of learning something new.
Throughout the day the rink was filled with energy and many smiling faces. While there were a few minor bumps and falls along the way, everyone made it through the day safely and with great stories to tell. Moments like these reminded us of this year’s theme, “Grateful in the Journey,” as students enjoyed the experience of trying new things, supporting friends, and spending time together as a community.
After their time on the ice, students finished the outing by enjoying lunch together at the restaurants in the mall, giving them additional time to relax and connect with friends.
This trip marked the first of two all–middle school outings planned for the year, providing meaningful opportunities for students to build community and create shared experiences together.
