ES Students Grow as Guardians During SEW
Written by Simon Adams, Elementary Chaplain
The elementary school was delighted to welcome EPIC Ministries to campus for this year’s Special Emphasis Week and Spiritual Emphasis Week. Throughout the week, students participated in meaningful sessions designed to strengthen both character and faith.
During Special Emphasis Week (Oasis), students focused on the guideposts of perseverance, gratefulness, teamwork, and integrity. In Spiritual Emphasis Week (NICS), students explored prayer, gratitude, service, and the Gospel.
Each gathering combined high-energy games, engaging teaching, and opportunities for encouragement as students learned what it means to grow as Guardians. Every session offered a thoughtful balance of fun and purposeful instruction.
EPIC’s beloved mascot Kazoo added excitement and laughter each day, helping create a joyful and welcoming atmosphere across campus.
One highlight of the week was Family Fun Night, where many parents joined their children on stage and in the audience. It was a special opportunity for families to celebrate together and experience the energy of the week firsthand.
On the final day, students reflected on what they learned about themselves, others, and their faith. They were encouraged to apply what they had learned and take meaningful next steps in their personal growth as Guardians.
