Guardian Cross Country Displays Growth and Grit
The 2025 cross country season was one defined by growth, grit, and team unity. From humid summer practices to a brisk championship finish, Guardian runners embraced every challenge—conquering hills, traffic, sand, and rain with determination and pride.
Girls’ senior captains Emma S., Kaiden H., and Sia K. guided a motivated squad of returning runners, including Isabella P. (10), Jaeyoung K. (10), and Olivia S. (10). Newcomers made an immediate impact as well, led by senior Bella P. and talented freshmen Shiloh R., Bria L., Lily C., Camila H., Kayla C., and Chloe K.
The Guardians carried strong momentum across the region, securing 4th place at the Asia Pacific Invitational (API) in Guam. On home courses, they compiled a 41–11 overall record and placed 4th in KAIAC (19–5). The team’s depth was especially evident at the TCIS meet, where Guardians claimed 9 of the top 15 spots in the combined girls’ race.

Boys’ senior captains Joshua K. and Jeremiah R. led a committed group of returners—Zion R. (11), Justin P. (11), Isaac S. (11), Kyle E. (10), and Grant R. (10)—while welcoming dynamic newcomers Timothy C. (10), Julian P. (9), James C. (9), Julian S. (9), Dylan B. (9), David P. (9), and Harry W. (9).
The boys demonstrated consistency all season, finishing 15–9 in KAIAC and earning 8th place at API. Together with the girls, they placed 5th in the relay and achieved an impressive 4th place combined score out of 22 schools.
