Kindergartners Begin Their Journey with Boo Hoo Breakfast

Our kindergarteners kicked off their first day of school on August 4 with a cherished YISS tradition — the Boo Hoo Breakfast. Parents joined their children to celebrate this special milestone, marking the start of their school journey at YISS. Families enjoyed a delicious breakfast of pancakes, bacon, sausage, eggs, and fruit alongside teachers and school administrators.

After sharing a meal and meeting one another, each class posed for photos with their families and teachers to commemorate the moment. Then came the bittersweet goodbyes — hugs, kisses, and waves as the students lined up and proudly marched off to their classrooms, ready to begin their first day of learning. Meanwhile, parents gathered in the Media Center to connect and meet other YISS parents and staff.
