A Season Recap of MS Girls Volleyball

This season, our girls middle school volleyball team, made up of 26 players from grades 6th, 7th, and 8th graders demonstrated steady growth, teamwork, and a strong sense of community. Throughout several Saturday jamborees, the players developed their skills and gained valuable game experience.

While the team finished 5th at the KAIAC Championships on May 17, they competed with heart and showed resilience in tough matchups against KIS, SFS, and Chadwick.

Another memorable moment at the tournament was playing SFS and losing a close match 25 to 22, where the girls showed incredible passion and heart, never giving up and playing with fierce determination until the final point.

One of the most memorable aspects of the season was the positive energy the girls brought to each practice and game. Their team spirit, encouraging cheers, and support for one another made the season truly special.

Congratulations to Jiyu Lee, who was named to the All-KAIAC Team for her leadership, great attitude, and strong play. We’re proud of all our YISS athletes for their commitment and growth this season!
