YISS Hosts MS KAIAC Swim Championships, Takes Second

Yongsan International School of Seoul (YISS) hosted the KAIAC Middle School Championship on April 8, 2023, which marked the culminating event of the middle school swimming season. More than 100 swimmers from seven international schools in Korea participated in the event. YISS swimmers recorded personal bests in all of their events, resulting in a second-place finish in the overall standings. The following are the highlights of the YISS performances:

First Place:

  • YISS boys in both 200m Medley and Freestyle relays, with swimmers Raymon M., Ryan C., Yunejay L., and Eugene L.

  • Corinne C. bagged first place in the 50m Freestyle, the only swimmer who went sub-30.

Second Place:

  • YISS girls in both 200m Medley and Freestyle Relays, with Corrine C., Chloe P., Olivia C., and Ludia Y.

  • Chloe P. - 100m Individual Medley

  • Raymon M. - 50m Freestyle, 100m Freestyle

  • Ryan C. - 100m Individual Medley, 50m Breaststroke

  • Corrine C. - 100m Freestyle

Third Place:

  • Chloe P. - 50m Breaststroke

  • Eugene L. - 50m Breaststroke
