Every once in a while an opportunity arises that you just can't pass up and that was the case with the Holiday Basketball Clinic put on for our middle and high school students. Coach Ray Farrell, a former college and professional coach from the US, came and worked with the students on their fundamentals skills and gave them pointers on how to get better on their own. "You need to practice with a purpose, with a passion, and with attention to detail," stated Coach Farrell. "It was a great opportunity for our kids to learn some new things, but also to be challenged to improve," mentioned YISS varsity basketball coach J.J. Davis, who also helped organize the camp. "I hope that we have more opportunities like this for our players to hear from and receive training by some of the best coaches around."
