MS All-Star Swimmers Shine Bright

By Tim Linn Dec 11, 2016

The middle school swim team had a successful season led by a solid group of 8th grade leaders; Jackie C., Emily C., Christie P., Hannah L., Kyle W., Pete H., and Rolf H.. Coaches Mr. Linn and Ms. Sarmiento were very pleased with the efforts, dedication, and performance of the team this year. The team was comprised of 32 individuals who were fast, fun, and full of spirit! The season seemed to go by in a flash and before we knew it the middle school swim season came to a close with the Middle School All-Star meet hosted by YISS. For the Middle School All-Stars, 10 YISS males and 10 YISS females were chosen to represent our school in the competition. The competition was stiff and very competitive. YISS finished very well placing a close 2nd in both the boys and girls competition.
