Eighth-Graders End Middle School with Roaring Twenties Gala

By Kimberly Lynch Jun 2, 2017

On Friday, May 19, the eighth-graders celebrated their accomplishments and camaraderie at the Eighth Grade Gala. This year’s theme of 1920’s Hollywood allowed students to have the opportunity to dress to impress. With students, parents, and teachers in attendance, it was the perfect way to mark the end of middle school. The event took place in the school courtyard, and the program consisted of dinner, games, speeches, photos, and student awards. In addition to these events, time was given for students to thank their parents and teachers, and everyone watched a slideshow of their favorite eighth grade memories. After the gala, many students stayed overnight for an unforgettable lock-in with games, open gym time, movies, snacks, and more. What a great way to celebrate this past year!

A special thank you goes out to everyone who helped make this night truly memorable and to the 8th grade class for such an outstanding year. Congratulations, class of 2021!
