The Stand Up Campaign has come to an end! Our elementary students have been learning about and looking for ways to be an “Upstander” this month. We honored many students for Standing Up and making the right choice when disagreements happened in their classes. Second through fifth grade students played a fun game where they were challenged to act out how they would deal with a bully. Students were Upstanders by saying no to bullies, standing up in groups, giving compliments, and asking for help. Our Kinder and first graders read the book “One” by Katherine Otoshi and created a puzzle that included everyone in their class because when anyone is left out, we cannot complete our puzzle. We are proud of our students for looking for ways to be Upstanders and encourage them to keep Standing Up every day!
