Middle School Students Learn Reading Appreciation

Feb 26, 2014

During the month of February, middle school students at YISS participated in the second annual Reading Appreciation Program (RAP). This unique program allows middle school students to express their passion for reading through several different avenues.  RAP activities are designed to develop lifelong readers, empower writers, and inspire those with artistic ability. By completing activities, the students will accumulate points and ultimately have a chance to win some amazing prizes.

The tally so far -

  • 75 students have submitted one or more pieces
  • 49 students have read to elementary students
