Digital Citizenship
The Common Sense Media curriculum is incorporated into lessons throughout all grade levels to teach students about behaving responsibly online. The curriculum teaches key concepts appropriate for each age group and may include topics such as cyberbullying and digital drama, privacy and security, and internet safety, giving students an understanding of life in a digital world.
1:1 Device Program
To support student needs for consistent technology access, every student is assigned a laptop for classroom and at-home use. Students are required to bring the assigned laptop to school every day, ready for a full day of learning. YISS provides a robust wireless network with substantial bandwidth for fast, reliable access to digital learning resources.
