Learning Support
Learning support services are offered to ensure that all high school students receive daily meaningful educational experiences. From language learning to cognitive impairments, a comprehensive program exists to support our students.
Student Learning Support (SLS)
Our team of certified educators and paraprofessionals considers it an honor to serve as as advocates for students with learning disabilities. SLS Instructional Delivery Methods include:
- Instructional support from the SLS teacher in general education classroom using the inclusion model
- Instructional support during SLS Study Hall
English Language Learners (ELL)
The ELL program is designed to help students to become more effective in English communication for success in a competitive academic and a diverse social environment. ELL Instructional Delivery Methods include:
- Scheduled Beginning and Intermediate ELL classes
- ELL instructional support from the ELL teacher integrated in general education classrooms
- ELL writing lab with facilitated support from ELL teacher
