Library & Media Center
The elementary library and media center promotes media and information literacy; cultivates an appreciation for reading; enables our users to access, evaluate, and ethically use information; and encourages a habit of lifelong learning with our elementary students.
Hours and Location
Grab & Go: 7:50 a.m. – 8:20 a.m.
Student Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Family Hour: 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Location: 2nd Floor, Main Building
Library Usage
Elementary classes visit the library on a six-day rotation. During this time, students learn a new library skill and/or hear a story that focuses on a theme or learning standard. Students are also given time to browse and select books for checkout.
Learning Spaces
The library is a cozy and comfortable place where students can explore the world of reading! Furnished with fun and colorful furniture, the library is an exciting place that welcomes all to come and develop a love for reading.


Family Hour
After school, from 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., parents are welcome to visit for Family Hour when you and your children can select books together, read together, or get assistance with book selection from a librarian.
Digital & Print Resources
The media center maintains a rich and varied collection of print materials to support curriculum and recreational reading. Database access, reference subscriptions, as well as electronic books are available to use both on campus and at home.


Checkout Policies
- Lower Elementary - Borrow up to two books at a time for two weeks.
- Upper Elementary - Borrow up to three books at a time for two weeks.
- Parents - Borrow up to 10 books or DVDs for two weeks.
- Renewals - Any book may be renewed for an additional two weeks, unless the book has been reserved.
