Thank you for your interest in working at Yongsan International School of Seoul. We offer a kindergarten (age 5) through grade 12 (age 18) co-educational program designed to nurture the attitudes, knowledge and skills of the whole child. We offer an international American-based curriculum, including a variety of AP courses in the high school.
YISS seeks Christian education professionals that have a passion for living out their faith in an international school context. YISS teachers are what make YISS such a great place for students to grow both spiritually and academically.
We greatly value the diversity in our students, and as such, value diversity in our faculty and staff positions at YISS. Our current staff hails from all over the world, though most have been educated in the United States, Canada and Europe.
YISS is member of the Network of International Christian Schools (NICS). All applicants for YISS must apply though the NICS Home Office Human Resources Department.
Please explore the NICS website. After reading about the philosophy of NICS and YISS, if you desire to apply, click on the "Career Opportunities" link on the NICS homepage. Clicking this link will direct you to the online application process, as well as allow you to view the positions that YISS seeks to fill for the upcoming school year. The first step in the application process is to fill out the online application by clicking the "Apply Online" button.
After completing the online application, you will be contacted by the Home Office placement division. A placement specialist will assist you in completing the remainder of the application process. Applicants interested in serving at YISS must indicate that Seoul is their first priority for placement. There is a section on the application to indicate this preference. After the NICS application has been completed, approved, and forwarded to YISS, you will be contacted by a member of the YISS administrative team.
